To ensure you are fairly and consistently paid, we have national and local mechanisms for jobs to be assessed and graded to match to the appropriate pay level. Subject to performance, all staff (except those working on a casual basis) will have the opportunity annually to get a pay increase until they reach the maximum of their grade.
West Sussex County Council aims to be competitive in the market place and some jobs attract a market supplement.
