West Sussex is a diverse county with generally high living standards and good economic prospects. Communications to London, the rest of the UK and to Europe are good, with good rail links, a major international airport and two seaports.

Over half of West Sussex lies in designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  We have the beautiful Sussex Downs, the stunning vistas of the High Weald, plus miles of sunny coastline.  The county is home to more that 750,000 people and millions more visit our coast and countryside each year.

West Sussex also encompasses the cosmopolitan and urban areas of Horsham and Gatwick / Crawley, plus coastal towns such as Worthing and Littlehampton which are rapidly developing.
